The official language of the meeting is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.
Passport and Visa
No entrance visa is required for participant from most countries, however we suggest you to consult the Turkish Embassy in your country before finalizing your travel arrangements.
Letter of Invitation
A formal invitation letter may be sent upon request. It should be noted that such an invitation letter does not mean any type of financial support or guarantee to obtain a visa when necessary.
Climate and Clothing
Average weather in Van in September is warm (20-22ºC) and sunny during a day. Temperatures of day and night in Van are notably different. Therefore, a sweater and a raincoat may be necessary for evenings.
Electricity
Turkeys operates on 220 volts, 50 Hz, with round-pronge European-style plugs that fit into necessed wall socekts/points.
