It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing away of dear Prof. Marco Mascini from Florence University, Italy, on the evening of May 12, 2015, who was the invited lecturer of our meeting.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him for his excellent scientific activities and his warm and generous personality.
